Gatherlane may use third-party providers for hosting, media delivery, payments, authentication, email delivery, WhatsApp or SMS delivery, analytics, security and error monitoring. These providers may set or read cookies or similar technologies where necessary to provide their services.
The specific providers are listed in the Privacy Policy and updated as the Platform changes. Current examples include Paystack, Google sign-in, Cloudinary, Sentry, Twilio (WhatsApp, relayed via Meta's WhatsApp Business platform), Resend, Neon PostgreSQL, Redis Cloud, Anthropic/Claude API and Cloudflare Turnstile.
If you block or delete essential cookies, parts of the Platform may not work properly. For example, you may be unable to sign in, save an RSVP, upload media, complete a payment, maintain security or access certain event pages.
Gatherlane will not use cookies or similar technologies for direct marketing in a way that unlawfully circumvents POPIA. Electronic direct marketing must comply with POPIA, including consent or another lawful basis where allowed, clear identification of the sender and an unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism.
Gatherlane may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to technologies, providers, Platform features or legal requirements. The updated version will be published on the Platform with the effective date or last updated date.
